Overview
A facility monitoring system comprising a suite of IoT sensors that can be retrofitted to existing equipment without any electrical work, paired with a cloud platform that consolidates all measurement data. Installation requires no high-voltage wiring or electrical work — sensors attach with a single touch in approximately 15 seconds. Power consumption, angle (analog gauges), and contact inputs are all sensed wirelessly and managed centrally in the cloud. By retrofitting IoT capability onto existing equipment rather than replacing it, the system delivers equipment-status visualization, energy savings, and predictive maintenance.
Technical Features
- Retrofit installation — no electrical work required: No high-voltage wiring or electrical work; attaches in a single touch in approximately 15 seconds. Retrofits IoT capability onto existing equipment and instruments.
- Proprietary power measurement — no CT required: Power is measured using a proprietary method that differs from conventional current-transformer (CT) approaches. The high-speed model performs real-time calculations at 0.2-second intervals and supports a wide range of input voltages.
- IoT conversion of analog gauges (angle sensor): Mounts on the back of pointer-type analog instruments (such as Bourdon-tube pressure gauges) to digitize their readings. Models for hazardous/explosion-proof environments are also available.
- Contact and signal acquisition (digital input): Contact inputs connect via terminal block with a single touch. Powered by battery or external supply, with Bluetooth transmission.
- Multi-point collection and long-range communication: A data logger collects data from multiple sensors (logging at intervals as short as 0.2 seconds), while a gateway aggregates up to 40 sensors and transmits data over LTE. Supports explosion-proof and outdoor installations as well as third-party sensor integration.
- Cloud-based visualization: Centralized management of field data, equipment-status visualization, energy-saving support, early detection of equipment anomalies and predictive maintenance, and more efficient inspection workflows.
Intended Applications and Target Industries
- Monitoring power consumption and operating status of factory and manufacturing equipment for energy savings.
- Predictive maintenance and remote monitoring through the retrofitted digitization of pointer-type analog gauges (pressure, temperature, etc.).
- Operational and leakage (non-revenue water) monitoring for water infrastructure such as pumps and pipelines.
- IoT deployment in facilities — including explosion-proof and outdoor environments — without halting existing operations.
